It's a complete joke, and another reason why I continue to hate almost every hardware developer Google works with. Google is consistently held back more by their friends than their enemies.

Obviously, I don't mean no R&D. But compared to Apple developing hardward and software from nothing, and Motorola being given a running version of Honeycomb specifically designed for the Xoom...

The great thing about Android is that ANYBODY can jump in and we should soon see that happen. I expect to see a slew of $400 tablets by Christmas of this year... and a drop to $300 by the next year. (There will of course be cheaper ones with crappy builds and more expensive models that are trying to be "elite")
