The thing about Chase Daniel is that he actually DID SOMETHING FOR MISSOURI other than put up gaudy stats in high profile losses.
Why should I give a **** what Gabbert does in his pro career? He won't be playing for a team I care about. In his two years at Missouri, he had one great win against Oklahoma, which was sadly rendered meaningless by the outcome of the season (they're the champs, we're the chumps). Other than that, he is 0-2 for in bowl games against inferior teams, had no conference championship game appearances, and was 100% Nebraska's bitch. Nothing he does in the NFL will change any of that.
When I think of Daniel, I think about that great 2007 game against Kansas. I think about the bowl victories. When I think about Gabbert, I just think about painful, high profile losses. That's just the way it is.
