Interesting. Did the movie add anything to the experience? Or would you just recommend reading the book?
I guess, something like
Fight Club was a fairly faithful literal adaptation, but Fincher enhanced the experience by doing things that were very faithful (to the spirit of the book) that couldn't be done in a written format. He added to the book with tools that could only be employed with film. In many ways, I'd say FC the movie is superior to the book because of what Finch did.
Is
Dragon Tattoo the same sort of thing, or is it just a (more or less) straight forward visual representation of the book?
