Intriguing prospect. Sounds like competition is his biggest question mark, but he has shined in international competition against legit pitching.

The international scouting has REALLY picked it up of late. Most of the best talent in the system (Ventura, Calixte, Cuthbert, Bonifacio, Almonte) is from that source.
What's the deal with this? Royals' international scouting has been outstanding, but our home scouting and drafting leave a lot to be desired...
