last word on Dunta -- Reid said he's the starter opposite Flowers until somebody else takes the job away, as I recall. But let's face it, this team is geared to play nickel and Reid knows it -- they'll play a lot of nickel pkg using Smith on the larger WR's etc. The NFL is spreading defense out a lot now if the team has personnel to do it.
And look for the Chiefs offense to spread 'em out too. Alex Smith works better in spread offense because of his athleticism. Of course, he needs to know when to pull up and keep from getting hurt.
Chase Daniel is a big spread offense guy too.
Jamaal can run that ball from any formation you want to draw up, of course, so look for this offense to completely morph under Reid & Chilli.
