Discover is nice because at the end of the year they cut you a check for a small part of what your spend with them. However, there are still places that don't take it. If someone takes cards you can be sure they take Visa.
I keep a Discover for my personal with a Visa to back it up, then a Visa for my business. The extra cards help me keep my expenses straight.
