Well, I'm a football fan and I love going to different stadiums around the country. I'll go to USC, UCLA, San Diego games. I've been to Jets games, Broncos games, etc. If I'm living in a town in which there's football, I'll go, as long as it doesn't conflict with the Chiefs because I'm a fan of the
game.
Same goes for baseball. I'm still a Royals fan at heart but just because they're 2000 miles away and have sucked ass for 25 years doesn't mean that I shouldn't
enjoy the game of baseball. I had season ticket packages to Dodgers games for years. I've been to ballparks all around the country and when the playoffs start, I don't miss a minute of the action. I LOVE baseball and it would be silly for me to deny that love because I can't watch the Royals everyday.
The other thing to keep in mind is that you're denying yourself the opportunity to watch some of the best athletes in the entire world perform on a world stage. That alone is worth the price of admission, IMO.
