I dot know how willing you are to travel, but if you want to make a trip to the same dealership I got mine at, I can get you in touch with the finance manager there that will probably swing a similar deal.
The Frontier is the top rated actual midsize truck in consumer reports (the top midsize is a Honda Ridgeline, but it's not really a truck...they also didn't want to work on price)
Resale of Tacos and Frontiers are about equal as are most options...I thought the Frontier had a much smoother ride and was overall a much better value.

I've heard good things about the Frontier... With a Toy, you pay a lot for the reputation and name. Granted, they probably hold their resale value a little better but damn, they are expensive little trucks.
