I don't know if she effectively chose him just by leaving the Temple. I believe she really does want to find Claire, and she wants Sawyer's help. However, her reaction to Sawyer & the shoe box as well as her behavior on the pier leads me to believe that she had chosen Sawyer.
What do you wanna bet she ends up w/ Jack in one timeline and Sawyer in the othe?
