For two seasons, I have been shouting at these dolts to get a few medieval-level pieces of equipment that would have drastically improved their chances of surviving hand-to-hand zombie combat. In one episode, they've now picked up two of them.
A sword, probably pilfered from some reenactor or collector's house: Check.
A shield, either made from farm bits or scavenged from a police station: Check.
A spear, which could be as simple as a Bowie knife duct-taped to a flagpole: Still waiting.
