But Coulson died in New York. And from the sound of it, he was dead a long time before they brought him to T.A.H.I.T.I (BTW, did I miss them explaining this acronym anywhere?). Anyway, you may be right. A lot of questions still.
As far as why Coulson was worried about giving the blood to Skye, after just doing a quick seach for Kree blood side effects (lol), I remembered Skye is not human! Remember her back story was that she was an "Object of Unidentified Origin". Also, found this little bit...

I don't know who Ms. Marvel is/are, but apparently there were several. One version has ties to Ronan the Accuser (Guardians of the Galaxy) and had a "Binary" form? Don't understand it much, but hackers with electromagnetic super powers aren't an uncommon pairing. Probably way off base, but thought it was interesting.
