I think I must remind Saul of somebody who did something really bad to him in the past - dude that kicked his ass in high school, maybe the guy who ran him out of his own company. But he really comes unhinged around me. I was discussing people who had worked under me when I was in the Navy one day, and suddenly he came charging into the thread saying that I was nobody's boss because my name wasn't on the door. He was the boss, because his name appeared on his staffs' paychecks. Silly me, all those times I was ordered to do shit, I should have just ignored them because the directive didn't come from Reagan or Bush.
Later he admits that this great company with his "name on the door" was a two-man operation with no staff, and that his partner had bought him out. So I'm a little unclear as to what checks he signed, but it sure sounded good at the time.
Poor Saul. At least he his patteeu to hold his hand through these trying days.
