just curious, do you think this means that Rummy and Dick(less) didn't know anything about the actions he had taken? Isn't that a bit silly? That's akin, to me, to Reagan claiming he could not recall....
That's the famous depo trick for which you can thank lawyers. It sounds nice to say they just found this out and launched him, but it's more realistic to say WE just found out, and they launched him to save face.
