This is true.
The whole ****ing team wet itself so bad that it's hard to blame any one person for this pathetic collapse.
If there's anyone to blame it's Matheny's slow hook w/ Lance Lynn. If that game doesn't get away, sooner or later Zito would've come apart.
Instead Matheny stared like a deer in the headlights as Lynn again let the game get away and the squad starting gripping the bats too tight.
They never recovered.
