I looked at building an AR in 6.8 spc, which amounts to .270 round vs the .308 of 7.62, and from what I read the bolts are pretty prone to limited life span due to how the bolts are made to deal with the 6.8 case. Something about just not enough metal.
So instead I'm in the midst of building an AR in 300 Blackout.
