It's asinine for a QB who has his eye on the starting job to miss ANY opportunity available to bond and work with his teammates. PERIOD.

Geno Smith isn't RGIII or Andrew Luck or Cam Newton. He's a second rounder QB with serious warts. By all accounts, was very lackluster throughout OTA's and Minicamps.

Instead of "working on his own", which to this point, hasn't done DICK for him (see the Senior Bowl, firing his agents, etc.), he should be in SoCal BONDING with his receivers, lineman, tight ends, etc.
