Obviously he must be great at route running, if someone has to be an idiot to think he isn't superior to Thomas. I just wondered what evidence you had of this. Maybe something other than "I saw it."

Also, I'm not sure what you're talking about "trying to re-learn how to play WR." He played quite well considering his inexperience and the offense he was in, I thought.
What other evidence do I need other than "I saw it?" There's no statistic for route running.

Thomas entered the NFL running nothing but go routes in college

Baldwin entered the NFL running a variety of formations and plays that required him to know far more about route running.

It's that simple. Thomas had to learn how to play WR when he entered the pros. What don't you ****ing understand about this? I'm not saying he can't play WR. I'm saying he had a very steep learning curve as a rookie. With very little experience thanks to the lockout, 5-game injury, and crap for coach/QB, Baldwin's routes are STILL probably better than Thomas'.

I'm not saying he'll be a better receiver this year. I'm still talking about just route running. That's it. If Thomas does put out better numbers than Baldwin, it will be by the grace of Peyton Christ himself.

You and vailpass should hang out. Your inabilities to detect subtleties when discussing football could help form a deep bond between you two.
