You're up one point. I'd settle for LeBron taking a jumpshot and if he gets too deep in the drive, foul him hard and force him to make free throws. Clearing the lane out is about the stupidest strategy available and Vogel did it on the two most important defensive possessions of the game.

Yeah, you first try to force LeBron into a jump shot (and if not, at least it will be a contested two at the basket with a foul/two shots being the most likely outcome). Doing what they did all but ensured a layup for him both times.
You just rarely see coaching decisions both as poor and impactful as this one was. I was laughing my ass off seeing Hibbert pulled both times because I knew exactly what LeBron was going to do given the opportunity. Just unconscionably bad stuff.
