I don't really understand how someone can sleep with a shedding animal. I love my dogs and cats, don't want their hair in my bed.

I slept at a friends house and their Boxer slept with me and kept pushing me off the bed. That didn't last long.

I guess it is what you are use to.

We have never given our animals a bath. Deutsch (big blond female retriever/lab)and Mr Frodo (male black pit/lab) went to the creek. They came back black with mud. Deutsch looked like a coon. The only blonde was around her eyes. The next day she and Mr Frodo were clean as a whistle. Thinking they groomed each other. Skunks, dead vermin, wet dog smell etc, next day are fine. Keep in mind they are primarily outside dogs (10 acres) so we don't have to endure the smell inside...just kick 'em out to go roam.
