go to a playoff, but use the bcs system and the bowls. they should use the bcs poll to envite the top 16 in the poll, and they should play in old bowl games, so that the entire playoff is played on a neutral field
16 rutgers vs ohio state in new orleans bowl
15 va tech vs 2 florida in cotton bowl
14 wake forest vs 3 michigan in gator bowl
13 west virginia vs 4 lsu in sun bowl
etc etc
that way the bcs is still in use and the bowl games dont go away
