Because their comments are ultimately irrelevant. Either he was a fan of Mizzou, the school he chose, or he wasn't. Saul and Pitt remain accurate as to the only salient question raised - he
wasn't a fan of the school he chose to attend.
It's merely piling on to learn that he was a fan of their historic rival.
