The AR sells for $550 on PSA's website. I do not own one of those rifles, but the specifications are pretty impressive. It isn't EXACTLY what I want, but it is a damn good start at that price. Carpenter 158 bolt (that is shot peened, MPI, and HPT) , 8620 carrier, 416 stainless barrel, 7075 upper/lower/buffer tube.
The only spec on it I don't like is that it is a 1/9 twist rate. I would prefer 416R to 416 on the barrel, but that is really splitting hairs. I don't like the furniture, but that is all easily changed. The guts of the rifle are good to go.
