i don't know about sucking ..... but they definitely could do a few things better.
1. rain fade really,really sucks
gotta be some way to fix it
2. Directivo has a feature where you can filter your channels ... so you don't have to see 2 million spanish music channels in your menu. But Directv is constantly pulling and revising the channels so the filter has to be redone each freakin week.
it should take them all of about 2 seconds to make the software retain your filter block for a specific channel even if it's been reset.
3. special shows are listed as all day events so you can't set them up to be recorded without doing it manually.
this includes a large portion of the sunday ticket football games
