FB is kinda dumb and annoying but everybody has it.
So instead of activating, deactivating, ativating, etc over and over. When you get tired of it, you just don't pay much attention to it.
I have an account. Glad I do. I post about once a month and rarely check it. It works for me.
And people who are annoying are quickly Unfriended or put on ignore.
Simple.
