So you have these two guys who are, really, guilty of the same thing. Live parallel lives. Partners. They engage in the exactly same activities. Yet... one is good and one is evil. Kind of crazy.

And that bolded part stuck out to me. What's Jesse got to spend his money on now? Walt's effectively taken away everyone he's loved. (Though he doesn't know it.) So, he's got cash to burn... and he spends it on a Rolex for a guy who he subconsciously considers a father figure.
