I got too caught up in Buchanan's length and the possibility of him putting on weight to be a DE (and an insanely good one) or the possibility of him being a savage hybrid OLB that could really be outstanding with his hand on the ground in 4-man alignments during sub-packages.
But in the end, Melvin Ingram's already a bit of a tweener himself so I should've just gone with the best 3-4 OLB prospect available at that pick and in my mind that pick was Collins.
I let the possibility of swiss-army utility override the potential of dominating at a single position and in the end I think that was a mistake.
I wouldn't mind the Buchanan pick if it
didn't cost me Collins.
