Keep an eye out as now is the time guys see their credit card bill from Christmas and dump the guns they use the least.... muzzle loaders fall in this category a lot.

When buying used look for corrosion in the barrel, make sure the rear plug screws freely once broke loose, break it over and check for slack in the hinge pin, cock and fire to make sure some want to be gun smith hasn't dicked with the trigger. When looking down the barrel look closely at the area about 2-3" from the breach, that area is known to form a ring that a lot of guys don't do a good enough job cleaning.

They're very simple guns that last forever if you keep them clean. If you get one, pm me and I'll pass along a tip or two that is a great bang for the buck for accuracy.
Thanks a bunch for the information. I may call on you when I see something in my price range to get your input
