MLS Champion for the League determined by points. (top 2 directly qualify into CONCACAF Champions - the 3rd place team may qualify if the US Cup Winner is one of the top 2 teams in the standings)
US Open Cup (keep it just like it was in 2012) - (winner directly makes it to CONCACAF Champions)
Supporters Shield - Top 2 teams in the standings from prior year battle it out in a neutral stadium before the beginning of the new season.
MLS 8 CUP - Top 8 teams in the standings at the end of the year, play a home and away cup to determine this cups winner (gives other teams something to play for in season).
