Impressions after getting familiar with the site:

The concept is great. There is definitely a niche to fill here. I'm not much of a stat geek, but a stat geek is a stat geek is a stat geek. The opportunity to control all the positions on a "fantasy team" should appeal to a group that will utilize this.

It's going to be tough to set up leagues as large as these. You have to rely on everyone in the league to be responsible owners. In league 2, there are 5 teams that haven't made a first round pick. 1/4 of the league bailed before the draft started. IMO, it requires a level of commitment that is tough to give when you don't know if the whole league is willing to do the same.

The UI is tough to deal with. It feels clunky and not efficient. It is almost impossible to keep track of selected and available players without a completely separate system set up beside the monitor. That will probably require a subscription to another site or a commonly prescribed method available to people new to the league if people are paying money to play.

The initial draft process looks daunting, and without having some type of email notification to let you know when you are on the clock, it requires you to log in constantly. Additionally, with no countdown timer on the draft page, you never know how long someone has been on the clock, so logging in doesn't always give you an answer as to how long you have. It's frustrating, and makes it feel like longer than it is.

Watching the activity in League 1 makes me think I just got stuck in the crappy league, which gives me hope for the game, but highlights how little fun this has been so far.

I'm sticking it out in the hopes that I can help with the beta testing by providing data and feedback, but otherwise I would have already pulled the plug. The combination of perceived lack of interest in the league and amount of work required to set it up without assurance that it's "not for nothing" would be the driving factor(s).
This man makes a lot of good points.
