We had a case where a 97 year old lady gave a quilt to some family members to keep while she was in the hospital. When she got out, they refused to give it back. So, we thought we'd simply file a motion with the court to get it back, but it ended up being a long drawn out ordeal (which I think was done on purpose with them hoping she would pass away before they had to give it back or that they'd sold it). Over a year later, they finally returned it. We recorded the opposing counsel opening the box it was shipped back in. When they opened it, I saw what the fuss was about. It was the most beautiful quilt I'd ever seen. Co-worker told me that it was worth $5,000 in the "quilting market". Anyway, the only thing more beautiful than that quilt was seeing tears in a now 98 year old lady's eyes when they took it in to her. Totally made my day.
