While I think that he's largely a product of the team he plays with, he's made some throws that were absolutely outstanding on tape. I don't really like the kid as a 1-2 round prospect right now but I'm not going to pretend he's like Landry Cassel who wilts under pressure and struggles completing passes down the field that aren't 3/4 vert concepts against 5DB personnel.

I agree with the last sentence here.
McCarron has shown an ability to step up and perform in high pressure situations.
I don't like him as a high round prospect, but I can not summarily dismiss that part of his game, which I have always argued is a necessary trait for a franchise QB.
