Demaryius Thomas didn't go to GT to play in the option offense. Chan Gailey left GT after Demaryius got there and he was stuck in that offense. Like Josh McDaniels said, when you are evaluating, you have to make sure you are evaluating the player not the coordinator.

The fact remains that Thomas played in an option offense that didn't require great routes except for the occasional fly pattern. He's a project. The fact that you reached for 2 projects in the first round is hilarious.
