People think just because you use charcoal you have to wait 45 minutes to even put the meat on the grill. Stupid rookies. I have bbqed numerous of times with the coals not being red. You have to learn to use your vents and indirect heat. I did a tri tip less then 30 minuets.
Everyone wants to think they're a master on the grill and I'm not one. I just know how to BBQ from a family business I worked for. I personally can taste the gas on "some" products. If I'm doing something that's expensive, I'll be one mad son of a bitch if it tasted like gas.
