I ran out of projects & got board. So I started looking around & decided this Mosin Nagant needs a scope. So this is my fist prototype of 2. This mount is high enough to still use the irons sights, the next one wont allow the irons ,but the cheek weld will be way better

milled a nice flat plain for the mount,now taping the receiver
still scratching my head at this point, but we are getting somewhere
enough scratching the head,lets just move on & get this done
I think I will re tap & move that 10/22 scope mount back another inch, I dnt like how the scope adjustment knob is right up against the scope ring.
