That is SUCH a lame excuse.
If the movies weren't well liked, then their box office grosses would have been substantially lower. The DVD sales would have been substantially lower. Merchandising would have been non-existent.
Disney isn't continuing the Star Wars saga for men in their 40's and 50's. It's for kids and the young at heart.
