He's not a better prospect than Luck ath the same stage. However, he's not as far removed in terms of what he brings to the table. He's as good a prospect not named Andrew Luck that I've seen in recent memory. That includes Stafford, Ryan, Bradford and any other quarterback that has gone first overall since Peyton Manning.
Which means, he
IS a better prospect than Griffin at the same stage.
I've already said why numerous times, so I'm not doing it again. And I've yet to see where anyone can refute it. If you want to make a case for Griffin over Smith at the same stages of their careers, go right ahead and then I'll address it then, but you are going to have to make that case.
