Its not irrelevant, at all. Whatever happened at the 2/3 line, could also happen at the 4/5 cutoff line.

The CCG is EQUALLY LIKELY to help as it is to hurt, no matter where you draw the line. There's no logical reason to say "oh, we dont like the game because it could knock someone out", because you are ignoring years when someone close needs help.

The only thing the Big 12 would accomplish by not having a CCG, is say "no thanks" to a bunch of money, which would be really damned stupid.
