Honestly, that's the worst part. I'm not any kind of continuity czar but Halloween 2 and H2O were good flicks. Personally, I liked Halloween 4 and 5 as well with his niece but I can understand retconning those.
Either way, I'll watch this one. Halloween was always my favorite slasher franchise.
