If you were to look at ESPNs site, I'm about 98% positive it says somewhere on there that "results are not considered official until Saturday". I know it used to.
In one of my leagues last year they changed the outcome of one game on a Saturday evening last year after week 14 and we had a team go from in the playoffs to out of them due to the change. He wasn't happy, but it is what it is.
