I don't disagree, but I think there's a bit of a "Darwin award" effect going on here. I really hope the guy turns out OK. (After all, he was trying NOT to be found by the cops.) But at the same time, it's hard to feel sorry for a guy who decided to jump into a large, cold river while running from the police and driving in a stolen car.
On a side note, how the hell does a sibling of an NFL star end up driving a stolen car? C'mon Ed, your bro deserves a Corolla or something.
