Diablo II rocked and was running strong. They could of just just tweaked the engine,made some new maps and invented some new bosses and released DIII 10 years ago.
They needed to do something about the dupes and hacks but other than that all they needed was more content.
a couple of UBER expansion pack type Diablo versions that would of been easy/cheap to make and could of been sold for less too.

I disagree on one point, they could have left the hacks in. Nothing keeps a game more interesting than discovering new hacks just when you're ready to put it down.
