Credit for that?
That team won on the strength of it's defense.
One of the all time great defenses that doesn't get nearly the credit it deserves.
And Buck was the anchor.

Mike Livingston did a nice job filling in for the injured Dawson going unbeaten 6-0 as the starter. We all know the Defense was the reason the CHIEFS won the Super Bowl. Len Dawson threw 5 INT's vs. OAKLAND in a losing effort on 11/23/69 at Municipal Stadium in Kansas City. Dawson had another game to forget when the CHIEFS played at OAKLAND on 12/13/1969 completing 2 of 6 passes for 47 yards in another loss. Not exactly impressive stats from Lenny. After throwing 5 picks in their first meeting, Dawson only threw it 6 times in the second meeting? My point is that Mike Livingston is kind of forgotten in this Super Bowl winning team when he filled in for Dawson. And he was the third string QB only starting after Jacky Lee went down in his first start.
