Hell, they do every year. They travel from all over the country to play in the Pro Bowl in Hawaii, some of them playing in playoff games the weekend before.

Just because they can do it doesn't mean they should. Sorry, but in the Nfl every small advantage counts. It's stupid to create a physical disadvantage this big when you can avoid it.
The reason Hawaii does this is because they wouldn't have a team otherwise. People keep referring to Hawaii as if they're good. How many Nfl players come from Hawaii? It's not like they're a powerhouse against east coast teams. Anybody who has ever traveled knows there is a thing called jet lag. It messes up your sleep and eating schedule. I'm sure it messes up film and practice schedules too.
