Some dude on the radio said that even after all the transactions to date the Royals have made, the payroll is less then it was last year. I don't know enough about their payroll to know if this is true or not. But if it is, both DM and Glass were blowing smoke up our asses when they talked about the money they were going to spend when they were on TV for one of the last Royals games
