Pretty sure I said this before, but this movie really needs to end on a bleak note. No oxygen destroyer magic solution, no human ingenuity and courageous spirit triumphs in the end, no miracle saving throw for mankind, no scripted Hollywood ending; no, it needs to end with "WE ARE ALL 100% fuckED." And let the sequel pick up several years or decades later, with what remains of humanity having learned to cope in a world ruled by the King of All Monsters.
