The University of Iowa published a study a few years back about the incidence rate of certain cancers in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa.

Basically, they said you could draw a football-shaped oval from the site of the nuclear tests in New Mexico to roughly Des Moines and it would basically encircle the crazy cancer numbers they documented.
