I started looking at the SA EMP 9 a little recently. If you want a 1911 style, that you could carry, and if you're concerned about the "too short of a barrel 45" I would consider this. That is if you can get past the whole "a 1911 has to be a .45."
I was a little sticker shocked though when I actually looked for the price, it will run over a grand most likely, but since it's a Springfield you will get a lot of gear with it.
Anyone have any shooting experience with this one?
