I absolutely hate getting sucked into games like this. Marte is such a fat, worthless ****. I can't believe he's even in the farm system. The mother****er took almost 35 pitches to face six batters that inning. He can't throw strikes and he can't miss bats, so any hitter worth a rat **** can foul off marginal pitches before he either lobs up dog shit or misses the zone by eight feet.
Situational hitting in extra innings, as always, has been complete dog shit tonight. Nights like tonight are why I hate giving guys work just to give them work like we did w/ Rosenthal and Mujica last night.
Congrats to Holliday for hitting a 39 hopper up the middle for his first "clutch" hit in four years, though.
