I do love this argument from an opposing fan like it justifies anything.
Matt Cassel's contract is irrelevant in any of this. He sucks. We know he sucks and very few of us on this board would have paid him anything.
It really has nothing to do with Manning.
Would I trade Manning for Cassel in a minute? Yes. But that's more of my feelings on how much I hate Cassel than I would want Manning right now.
