In a vacuum, I'd say that KC would be the perfect fit and opportunity.
Unfortunately, life isn't lived in a vacuum.
He obviously has talent and a great arm. But he was set up to fail the minute he was drafted because of Dan Snyder. He didn't treat RGIII like a player or the developmental prospect that he was when selected in 2012 but a buddy and a trophy.
When a player is constantly praised and put on a pedestal by the team owner and held in higher regard than the other 52 and the coaching staff, bad things are bound to happen. I don't think that RGIII is "stupid" or incapable of learning to read defenses, it's just that there's such a sense of entitlement, put in place by the owner, that he's not been forced to focus on his career. He's a play thing for a wealthy guy. It's insane.
If he was willing to come to KC on a minimal contract, keep his mouth shut, refuse to speak to the media and learn from Reid & company, he might have a chance to resurrect his career.
But I think the likelihood of that happening is less than 1%.
